FileTek's Trusted Edge Desktop Data Management Suite is a combination of system, application and vertical market components that monitor end-user desktops in real time for any new or modified emails and documents. When a qualified document or email is identified, the client applies Capture Rules appropriate for that document or email type.
Appropriate system and user level metadata are dynamically collected and branded back into the document or email making it self describing. This Metadata or asset tag that has been inserted into the document is also centrally stored in the Trusted Edge Metadata Server. In addition to data capture and tagging, the policy may also require the system to route a copy of the document to a Microsoft SharePoint Data Repository or to any other Corporate repository already in place.
