FileTek Integrates StorHouse with EMC Centera Content Addressed Storage (CAS)
Rockville, MD (March 19, 2003) - FileTek, Inc., a data management software developer, today announced the integration and availability of StorHouse® for EMC Centera™ content addressed storage (CAS). The integrated solution enables organizations to economically store and provide fast access to fixed, or unchanging, content. FileTek also announced the StorHouse Appliance for EMC Centera, a Centera-specific gateway that provides organizations with the capability to integrate existing legacy applications with EMC Centera. FileTek is a member of the EMC Developers Program.
StorHouse for EMC Centera provides a cost-effective data storage system with relational access to large amounts of fixed content such as X-rays, e-mail and attachments, MRIs, seismic data, videos, and CAT scans. StorHouse can manage millions of these files within terabyte to petabyte-size storage systems.
