Course Description

AMMO-II On-Line System Administration

Duration: 2 days

This course covers AMMO-II system administration. The course explains how to establish security, define reports that will be archived into AMMO-II, manage print and fax devices, and monitor activity. You need a CICS logon ID and appropriate AMMO-II privileges to perform the hands-on exercises.

Prerequisites: AMMO-II for End Users

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this course the students will:

• Send and remove broadcast messages



• Define system parameters



• Add operators, profiles, printers, and fax devices



• Define reports and report keys needed to archive and retrieve data in AMMO-II



• Establish security for new and existing operators and profiles



• Define global key used to cross-reference reports



• Define Storage Machine path definitions



• Create and assign customized views



• Monitor activity and error logs
